While saying our good-byes to 2011, we are hopeful as we embrace 2012. New beginnings, a fresh start, even the calendar is bare.
I am carrying over a couple of unfinished projects from 2011, but I also have a few new ones that I am a bit antsy to start.
Most of the holiday is put up, still a tree to make it's way to the attic, and the cleaning has been in full force. There is such a comfort of empty counter space and tidy rooms. It is peaceful to me.
So here's to a new start! To a brand new year! And to you! Your kind words left here and the friendships made warm my heart more than words can express. Thank you. Thank you for bringing sunshine to this little spot. Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteEvery photo in the post is lovely. What a great diary post of your year. The first quilt is my favorite I think. No maybe the star quilt. I really love blue and red together. I have to ask you to see what fabric you got from Oliva. Is there a mark on the selvage with the name of the fabric. I'm over the moon in love with it.
