monday.

Last April I did a little pattern testing for Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs and posted about it here.  The pattern came together quickly and was fun to make.
Kathy's quilting is as charming as ever!!  (Hi Kathy!!)  I could hardly wait to bind and display.
Thanks so much for visiting today!
I hope you have a fabulous week!  xo
p.s.  I listed this adorable table topper in my etsy shop, so please do drop by for a peek.

pattern testing.

I recently had the opportunity to test Allison's latest quilt pattern "wallflowers".  I had so much fun sewing her blocks, which measure a wonderful 20" finished!  This particular one ended up as a pillow for my sewing room!
There are no templates and as always, Allison's pattern is super easy to read!  (Love love love her patterns!!!)
Wallflowers pattern is available here (pdf or paper) and can be made into a throw (9 blocks), twin (12 blocks), or queen (16 blocks).
 Thanks so much Allison! xo

pattern testing and a giveaway

Oh boy are you in for a treat today!  Cheryl with Meadow Mist Designs is sharing 5 of her patterns with you today!  Yep, that means 5 of you dear ladies will win!
I really enjoyed creating The Quilt in the Hat baby quilt using Cheryl's pattern and Marmalade fabrics.
The instructions are easy to understand, and is great for a beginner or a more experienced quilter.

Cheryl has a unique method of piecing the blocks and it literally only took a couple of hours to make, start to finish.

The pattern includes baby, lap, twin, and queen sizes
In addition to giving away this fabulous pattern, from April 7th to 17th all Meadow Mist Design patterns are priced at $6.00 each (discount from $8.00 each), as well as 3 pack of patterns for $15, and free shipping on all sewing accessories.
  Would you like to win
your very own copy?
Head on over to Meadow Mist Designs then come back here and tell me what your favorite item is.
Winners will be randomly chosen on Friday, April 12th.
(my dear little quilt is heading to the quilter - hi Kathy!)

w.i.p. wednesday

Do you ever find the last stages of completing a quilt are bittersweet?  I love love love to sew binding onto my finished quilts.  I also love the feel of a warm and crinkly quilt fresh from the dryer, but being at the end, well, means being at the end.
I have really enjoyed making Allison's scattered pattern.
I have also been doing a little pattern testing and can't wait to show the finished quilt.  When I do, there will be a nice little giveaway, so be sure and stay tuned.
