shortcake.

I finished my Shortcake quilt top today.  Shame on me for letting these blocks sit for so long, unattached to one another.  Life just happens sometimes and the sewing machine ends up idle.
Do you have days like that too?
The count down is on.  Two more weeks until I fly out to Salt Lake City for The Sewing Summit. Vanessa from V and Co. will be teaching how to photograph our creations and I can hardly wait.  Don't you just love a good photograph?

As much as you get accomplished I can't imagine your machine ever cools down!
You seem to have a passion for quilting and it's reflected in all of your works. This one, as well.

  11. Ooops, sorry about that. I found you through your comment on my blog. I am so glad I linked over to your blog, I am your newest follower! I can't wait to go through your blog and see more of it, when I have time! I do crochet washcloths also, I just half double crochet in straight rows till it is the size I want. I add a simple shell border or edging. I love them. I do love to crochet but wish I was better at it! Thanks for visiting my blog, so nice to meet you!
