

sewing for a friend ...
the process of piecing together old strips of quilted scraps, continues
my best efforts to preserve the original hand stitching
each strip is ironed and hanging on a drying rack just waiting to be sewn together
this is where I am camping and will not come up for air until all these strips have become one real big quilt ... whew

all I could think of while piecing this top was the old saying ...
how do you eat an elephant? one bite at a time. ha ha ha


and then a prayer of thanks for a big flat floor. ha ha ha
such a labor of love! my friend makes these

Those fabrics are fantastic. I wish you luck, sometimes they are not easy to work with.
