moods.

Do you ever go through moods in your quilting endeavors?  I do.  Lately my mood has been to hand quilt and cut fabric.  So far I have cut out rows for my row along quilt, more work being done on my next Moda Bake Shop tutorial (using Avalon - such lovely fabric) and as you can see from the first picture, I have 36 blocks cut out for a new scrappy trip around the world.  I hemmed and hawed over my last attempt and then I saw Sherri's quilt with white fabric as the center and knew that was the idea for me.  I raided my stash and started cutting.  As you can see, my scrap box is overflowing!

I also have two other secret projects going on in the background which I promise to show when allowed (smile).  That seems to be a theme ... I am telling the truth, I really am sewing away my days, even though you have not seen any new projects - smile!  I am full of happiness in doing so!

On a side note look what I found in the super market!!  Fresh strawberries!  Oh my are they delicious!  Especially with a little vanilla greek yogurt!  Yum!

Have a lovely weekend.
xoxo

  1. yes! Sometimes it's time to cut all my scraps into 4 or 5 inch squares, sometimes it's time to sew and every once in a while I actually feel like cleaning up! lol

  2. I'm totally a mood person. It reaches quilting and everything. We had fresh strawberries this weekend, too.
