GEARED FOR GUYS BOOK TOUR - REMIX.

I am so excited to be posting in
that I can hardly stand it!
My little contribution today is actually a baby blanket, created by using the Caution quilt pattern, a jelly roll of Farm Fresh fabrics, a little extra fabric, and I hand quilted it using perle 8 cotton thread.
I have been saving the Farm Fresh jelly roll for just the right pattern and I am so glad to have used this one!!  I just love those chevrons, don't you??
In keeping with the farming theme, I was able to use a yard of cute little barns and tractors for the backing.
I had so much fun making this quilt.  Emily's pattern was just perfect for the design and was super easy to understand!  I made an adjustment with measurements, to suit the needs of a baby blanket, but was very easy to manage.
Thank you so much Emily for allowing me to play with your pattern and create a very special blanket that will one day snuggle around a sweet baby.
Would you like to see some of the other quilts made using Emily's Geared For Guys?  Just check out these very talented ladies.  At the end of the tour, Emily is hosting a book giveaway!  You will be entered to win her fabulous Geared For Guys quilt book!  If you can't wait to see if you are a winner, Emily's book is available in her etsy shop, as either a pdf or a paper version.
