and I made a trade recently.

For Ashley - I created two crochet pincushions.

And I received a yard of the
and a couple of pieces of this cute
scalloped circles fabric.
Thank you so much Ashley, it was
a lot of fun trading with you!

Another trade was between Jocelyn (who does not have a blog - yet!) and I. I didn't take a picture of the goodies I mailed to her (a misc. package of fabrics from my stash). But we are both creating the row along quilt that
Lori over at Bee In My Bonnet is hosting, and it has been so much fun sharing fabrics between the two of us!

In addition to trading, I received the sweetest gift from Jocelyn. I have really enjoyed chatting with her through emails about quilting, crochet, good books to read, etc. My heart was touched when she wanted to send a treat in the mail to say thanks for answering her quilting questions. It was such a delight to do so! My heart is warmed by your kindness. Thank you so much Jocelyn!
What a fun trade to be part of!! I hope to get started on row 2 this weekend, yours are so stinkin cute!!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute fabrics, and Ashley will LOVE her pincushions!! Blogging is like having a whole neighborhood of the best girlfriends at the click of a mouse!! xoxo Debbie
ReplyDeleteDon't you think fabric in the mail might just be the best gift ever....I love your new fabric and cannot wait to see what you make with it...smiles...Renee
ReplyDeleteAw-thanks for the kind words. I'm so glad you like your fabric! I've enjoyed our emails too-wish we lived closer. I've got my squares for row 1 cut and hope to sew them today. I'll send you a pic when I'm done provided it ends up the correct size! That's my biggest concern I think-that I'm accurate enough to have everything end up the correct size. Guess there's only one way to find out. :)
ReplyDeleteHello trish, always read your blog and really enjoy your projects. Thanks for the inspiration and have a lovely blessed weekend, blessings Pam
