Our sweet little gentleman, Thomas ran away from home. Will you please pray he finds his way back? To some this may sound like a silly request, but I believe that God is in the details of our lives. And I am hoping that He will find it acceptable to honor my petition, on this furry little guy's behalf. I have called and called for him. We live in the country and there are coyotes and other such wild animals. I just want him to be home and safe, with us, who love him and miss him a whole bunch.
( nap time in my home )
ps. I will try to keep this little spot in blog land less deep in upcoming posts. I never want folks to feel like this is a sad place to visit. Life has just thrown some curve balls at us the past several months. But, I PROMISE that God's grace is indeed sufficient. He has carried us, deepened our faith, nurtured us and ministered to our every need. We are giving thanks and counting our blessings, one by one!

God cares about our pets. I am praying for Thomas to return. He is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI once asked God if it was too much for me to ask for my dog because she needed surgery. God's response was "IF IT MATTERS TO YOU , IT MATTERS TO ME " !
ReplyDeleteAmen to Aaron's Rod's comment...case your cares on him because he cares for you :)
ReplyDeleteThis is your blog. Don't feel like you have to make it reflect something you don't feel like as long as it doesn't hurt people's feelings (which you would never do). Be yourself and if somebody doesn't like it, you probably don't want them reading your blog anyway...I know I don't!
I too believe that God cares about our pets. I am praying that your sweet kitty is safe.
ReplyDeletePlease let us know when you need us to be there for you, we all have times when things seem to come all at once..those who care will be here always. xo
Oh no... praying for his safe arrival home very soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure God cares about all animals, including us humans. I'll pray that your Thomas will be home soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd please don't worry about being "too deep" on your blog. Speaking only for myself, it can be a very good corrective to my own outlook on my own problems to see someone else's on theirs, especially someone of faith.
Hi Trish! Praying that Thomas finds his way back home! And you blog about real life...it isn't all rainbows and butterflies. Hugs! xoxo Debbie

ReplyDeleteMinha linda seu gato com certeza voltará são e salvo,Deus nunca faz sua obra pela metade.Mas pense que ele pode ter saido para namorar,é possível?Abraços.
ReplyDeleteNever apologise for having love for your beautiful cats, we share our home with 8 small rescue dogs. I would be just as upset and concerned as you are if any went missing. God is interested in every aspect of our lives so asking for prayer is important. I pray your little one will soon be back home with his family who loves him.

So hard when our little furies don't come back in when they should. He looks like my big boy Gus.
ReplyDeleteI prayed after I read and now trusting that he will be found.
OH my goodness! I am choked up just reading this! As a momma to four kitties...I just can't imagine the worry and heartache you are feeling right now! I will most certainly say a prayer for Thomas' safe return.
ReplyDeletePlease keep us updated because I will be worrying until I know the outcome!
Maybe Thomas is feeling the effects of spring and is just off on a romp somewhere! My cat has done this before, only to return a few days later. Hope he shows up soon!

ReplyDeleteHow could anyone think this is a sad blog? I hope Thomas comes back. We have had similar problems. Once we lost a cat for an entire summer and then he came sauntering back.
