a few of my favorite things
When Nathan was just a little guy, he would collect heart shaped rocks for me. I have treasured them for years, but sadly they were tucked away in my jewelry box. Until now! Rubies Place has a darling and simple tutorial {here} for framing heart shaped rocks. I just had to try it. All it took was a thrifted little frame that I spray painted red, a scrap of fabric, a little hot glue and my treasured rocks. Now I can see them every day!
Kathy at Kathy's Cottage makes the most beautiful heart shaped pillows. When I saw this most recent one posted, I just knew it had to come home with me. It is so Cath Kidston! I love it! One of my favorite touches that Kathy adds to her pillows are darling little brooches. Oh they just sing to my heart! It is such a delight to come down the hall to our master bedroom and see our sweet heart hanging on the door.
