bee block measurements.

for an 8 1/2" unfinished block

center square : 
2 1/2" square
inner square : 
2 - 2" x 2 1/2" strips
2 - 2" x 5 1/2" strips
outer square :
2 - 2" x 5 1/2" strips
2 - 2" x 8 1/2" strips

After posting Amy Smart's bee block on instagram, I had a question about what this block was.  Easy peasy!  It is sewn together like courthouse steps and so fun to make.  xo

    Thanks so much! When you say sewn like Courthouse Steps, does it mean sew the two shorter sides on, press and then sew on the longer? And then repeat for the outer square? Thank you again! :)
