blogger's quilt festival. spring 2013.

AmysCreativeSide.com
Hello!  If you are visiting today from the Blogger's Quilt Festival, welcome!  I am so glad that you are here.
Please, make yourself at home.
My quilt is made with Kate Spain's Honey Honey for Moda. The summery colors and patterns are reminiscent to sleep overs at my grandparents house as a child.  Nanny's sheets were always so soft and pretty.  Just like her!  I cherish those special memories so much!
I designed the layer cake quilt pattern itself for The Moda Bake Shop, after seeing a similar pattern in an old magazine.  It was so much fun to make!  And is one of my very favorite!
Thank you so much for visiting.  I can't wait to pour myself a nice cup of coffee and see all the other entries first thing in the morning!  If you are interested check out my tutorial over at The Moda Bake Shop.  wink.

What a sweet reminder of such happy days. I am in love with the pattern.....but mostly your color choices bring home the 'heirloom' feel of this quilt! It is a beautiful design and gorgeous execution! Hugs, Doreen
