my next quilt

The look of scrappy quilts are my favorite. There is just something cozy and welcoming about them. I contacted Vanessa at V and Co. and asked if she wanted to do any kind of de-stashing of her fabric (love. love. love her quilts - and her blog too). After a few emails back and forth, a color scheme decided upon, a little $ exchanged and voila ... the makings of my next quilt!
Thanks so much Vanessa - it was fun working with you!

yes- those are my snowmen jammies
one day a week, they stay on a lot longer than normal

these 1/4 yard Thimbleberry fabrics were the exception.
I actually purchased them at our quilt retreat last month.
The colors will be perfect for what I am doing.

  2. Hi Trish!
I don't know if you saw my earlier comment, but I made that quilt for my bed. The pic is on my blog towards the bottom. I can't wait to see what yours looks like! :)

  3. Oh, this quilt is going to be beautiful and come together fairly quickly with the simplicity of the pattern. I am really getting into simple patterns with beautiful fabrics. I think it makes the fabrics stand out so much better, don't you?
