Christmas gift idea.

A few years ago, Woody and I made several dish clocks for Christmas presents.  It was so much fun that I wanted to share the "how to" with you!

So.  Here is what you will need :
.dish of choice
.clock mechanism
.drill bit specific for porcelain
.cordless drill
*optional - pretty stand
1. Determine where you would like your hole drilled. Mark that place.
2. Slowly begin drilling hole while trickling water (we used the garden hose outdoors) on the plate where the drill is drilling. WE HAVE A CORDLESS DRILL.  DO NOT USE AN ELECTRIC UNLESS YOU ARE SUPER CAREFUL WITH THE WATER!!!
3. Dry plate, place clock mechanism into plate.  And ta-da, a sweet and fun dish clock!
Wasn't that fun?!
Have a lovely weekend.
